COLLECTION AND STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA 1.1. Upon subscription to the RentAll platform, subscribers will be required to provide certain personal information such as: 1.1.1. First names, last names, phone numbers, postal address, e-mail address, date of birth and profile photos; 1.1.2. Identity verification and payment information including, but not limited to, images of identification cards/books, identification number and bank account or payment account information. 1.2. Upon subscription, RentAll automatically collects the following information from subscribers: 1.2.1. geo-location information such as precise or approximate location determined from subscribers’ IP address, or mobile device’s GPS depending on the device settings; 1.2.2. usage information such as the pages or content viewed, searches for listings, bookings and other actions on the RentAll platform; 1.2.3. log data and device information such as details about how subscribers use the RentAll platform, IP addresses, access dates and times, hardware and software information, device information, device event information, unique identifiers, crash data, and cookie data; and 1.2.4. payment transaction information such as the payment instrument used, date and time, payment amount, payment instrument expiration date and billing postcode, IBAN information, subscribers’ address and other related transaction details. 1.3. Subscribers represent that this information is correct, accurate and complete, and that they will update it immediately when a change occurs. 1.4. If any subscriber provides false or inaccurate information, or if that information is not up to date or is incomplete, RentAll reserves the right to suspend a subscriber’s right of access to any material associated with the subscription.
USE OF THE PROVIDED INFORMATION RentAll uses the information provided in clause 1 of this privacy policy to: 2.1. Provide, Improve, and Develop the RentAll Platform. Such as to: 2.1.1. enable access to the RentAll Platform and make and receive payments, 2.1.2. enable communication between subscribers’ 2.1.3. process requests; 2.1.4. perform analytics, debug and conduct research; 2.1.5. send messages, updates, security alerts, and account notifications, 2.1.6. personalize and customize a subscriber’s experience based on their interactions with the RentAll Platform, search and booking history, profile information and preferences, and other content submitted; an 2.1.7. enable the use of RentAll’s products. 2.2. Create and Maintain a Trusted and Safer Environment. Including to: 2.2.1. detect and prevent fraud, spam, abuse, security and safety incidents, and other harmful activity; 2.2.2. study and combat discrimination; 2.2.3. conduct security investigations and risk assessments; 2.2.4. verify or authenticate information provided; 2.2.5. conduct checks against databases and other information sources, including background or police checks; 2.2.6. comply with any legal obligations and protect the health and well-being of all subscribers; 2.2.7. resolve disputes with subscribers 2.2.8. enforce agreements with third parties; 2.2.9. comply with any applicable law; and 2.2.10. enforce these terms of service. 2.3. Provide, Personalize, Measure, and Improve our Advertising and Marketing. For example to: 2.3.1. send promotional messages, marketing, advertising, and other information based on preferences and social media advertising through social media platforms; 2.3.2. personalize, measure, and improve our advertising; 2.3.3. administer promotional activities or events sponsored or managed by RentAll; and 2.3.4. analyze characteristics and preferences to send promotional messages, marketing, advertising, and other information of interest. 2.4. Wnable, or authorize third parties to use payment services such as to: 2.4.1. detect and prevent money laundering, fraud, abuse, and security incidents; 2.4.2. conduct security investigations and risk assessments; 2.4.3. comply with legal obligations (such as anti-money laundering regulations); 2.4.4. enforce the terms applicable to the RentAll payment system; 2.4.5. with the subscriber’s consent, send promotional messages, marketing, advertising, and other information of interest; and 2.4.6. provide and improve payment services.
ACCOUNT, PASSWORD AND SECURITY 3.1. Subscribers warrant that they are the only authorised user of their personal account and are solely responsible for maintaining the privacy of any username, password and account provided by them or RentAll to access the RentAll platform. 3.2. Subscribers are solely responsible for all activities performed through their account. 3.3. RentAll has no control over the use of a subscriber’s account by that subscriber or by third parties and expressly disclaims any liability arising from it.
COMMUNICATIONS 4.1. By subscribing to the RentAll platform, subscribers expressly agree and accept to receive communications from RentAll, including by text (SMS) messages, calls, e-mails and other legal means at any of RentAll’s contact numbers or e-mail addresses in order for RentAll to provide services, to service subscriber’s accounts, to review issues related to those account and to inform subscriber’s about RentAll marketing activities. 4.2. By subscribing to RentAll, subscribers agree to receive communications, including marketing messages, generated by automated systems that will deliver audio, video and text messages and e-mail sent on behalf of RentAll or its affiliates regarding: 4.2.1. operational communications about a subscriber’s account; 4.2.2. use of the RentAll platform; 4.2.3. updated to new and existing features of the RentAll platform; 4.2.4. communications on events and promotions about a subscriber’s account; and 4.2.5. RentAll news. 4.3. By subscribing to the RentAll platform, and accepting these terms of service, subscribers acknowledge that they do not need to give their consent to receive promotional communications as a condition of using the RentAll platform or the services offered through it. 4.4. RentAll may send subscribers validations, marketing and other e-mails related to the services provided on the RentAll platform. 4.5. RentAll may also send subscribers e-mails for other services that may be of interest to them. 4.6. Subscribers reserve the right to opt out of receiving such e-mails any time by clicking the unsubscribe option.
COMPLIANCE WITH LAW AND PREVENTING HARM 5.1. RentAll reserves the right to disclose a subscriber’s information to a court of law, enforcement, governmental or public authorities, tax authorities or authorized third parties, if and to the extent required or permitted to do so by any applicable law, to: 5.1.1. comply with a valid legal request (a subpoena or court order); 5.1.2. respond to claims asserted against RentAll; 5.1.3. respond to a valid legal request relating to a criminal investigation to address alleged or suspected illegal activity; 5.1.4. respond to or address any other activity that may expose RentAll or its subscribers to legal or regulatory liability; 5.1.5. enforce and administer these terms with subscribers; or 5.1.6. protect the rights, property or personal safety of RentAll, its employees, its subscribers, its representatives, or member of the public. 5.2. Where legally required or permissible according to applicable law, RentAll may disclose owners’ and users’ information to tax authorities for the purpose of the tax authorities’ determination of proper compliance with relevant tax obligations.
CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY 6.1. RentAll reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time in accordance with applicable law. 6.2. Subscribers will be notified of any change to this Privacy Policy by accessing the RentAll website and taking note of the “Last Updated” date. 6.3. In case of material changes, RentAll will provide subscribers with notice of the modification by e-mail at lease thirty (30) days before the effective date. 6.4. Unless subscribers cancel their account before the revised Privacy Policy becomes effective, their continued access to or use of the RentAll platform will be subject to the revised Privacy Policy.
